Set Up Instructions

 

First, Go to Webmail on your Desktop to Change your Password: 

webmail.<domain>.com Example:  webmail.dawgyaf.com 

Enter your full email address  Example:  lisa1@dawgyaf.com and then your password.

Scroll down to Edit Your Settings, Password & Security and change your password.

There are other ways to manage your inbox here also.

Click on OPEN under Roundcube.  It’s not recommended to check ‘open my inbox when I log in’.  This way you can always see all the ways to manage your inbox each time you go into webmail. 

*Important:  If you ever forget your password when you go to webmail, click ‘reset password’, then enter your full email address where it says ‘enter username’.  Click reset. Enter the contact email address you provided to us on the website, when you purchased your new email address. Click ‘send security code’.  Retrieve your security code from your contact email address.  Enter your security code and click Submit.  Enter your new password (twice).  Set password.  Log into webmail and proceed with email address and new password. 

 

For iPhone:

Open Settings.

Tap Mail.

Tap Accounts.

Note: For older iOS versions, you will instead tap Add Account > Other > Add Mail Account. Then, skip to Step 6.

Tap Add Account.

Choose Other.

Add Mail Account.

Enter your account details and tap Next.

Account Details:

Name    The name others will see when receiving your mail.

Email     The complete email address of your new email account.

Password             Your password.

Description         Enter a description for your account here. This information is only used to better differentiate your account from one another.

Server Setup

Receive your mail using the IMAP 

Enter the remaining data and tap Next.

Incoming Email Server Details

Hostname           mail.<domain>.com  Example: mail.dawgyaf.com

Username           Your full email address.  Example: lisa1@dawgyaf.com

Password             Your password

Although the Outgoing Server Settings are marked as Optional by default, you must enter the Outgoing Server Settings below to properly set up your email account.

If you do not add these settings, you will not be able to send email.

Outgoing Email Server Details

Hostname           mail.<domain>.com  Example: mail.dawgyaf.com

Username           Your full email address.  Example:  lisa1@dawgyaf.com

Done.

 

For Android:

The setup of the e-mail account is described using the smartphone model Samsung Galaxy S21 with Android 13 as an example. The menu items listed below may differ on other Android models.

Launch the Gmail app.

Tap the icon with the three horizontal lines in the upper left corner.

Tap Settings.

Tap Add account.

Tap Other.

Enter your full email address.

Tap Next.

Select IMAP account.

Enter your password.

Click next. 

Incoming server settings:

mail.<domain>.com  Example: mail.dawgyaf.com

Outgoing server settings:

mail.<domain>.com  Example: mail.dawgyaf.com

Security type      SSL/TLS

Require login      Checkbox

Username           Your full email address

Password             Your password

Enter your password in the Password field.

Tap Next.

Optional: Select the account options you want and click Next.

Optional: Change the account name or the name that appears in the sent messages.

Tap Next.

Your email account is added.
